Exhaust Warranty
All Blockhead Performance Exhausts include a limited 2 year warranty.
WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?
The product shall be “free of defects in materials and workmanship during the first two years of the product.” Your Blockhead Performance product will perform and function for the purpose intended and the product will not be defective. Blockhead Performance will stand behind any defect in manufacturing.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY:
- Broken welds
- Exhaust leaks caused by improper or inadequate welds
- Broken muffler baffles
WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?
With the limited warranty, normal wear and tear is not covered. While stainless steel is a durable material for exhausts, it is still subject to environmental and atmospheric conditions and requires regular maintenance and cleaning.
- Bike-side mounting brackets are not covered under warranty
- Exhaust springs are not covered under warranty
- Products that have been abused, crashed, or installed improperly are not covered under warranty.
DISCOLORATION OR BLUEING?
Discoloration is caused by improper air/fuel ratio, cam timing, carb jetting, long periods of idling, or slow speed travel under load, among other causes. It is the natural reaction of the stainless steel as a substrate and is not the result of a manufacturing defect. Blockhead Performance does not warrant against bluing or discoloration.
ARE POLISHED PIPES AND COATED MUFFLERS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY?
Blockhead Performance is not liable for finishes or coatings that have been damaged due to abuse, neglect, adverse road and environment conditions, accident and improper installation, or shows of evidence of adverse conditions.
IS THE WARRANTY TRANSFERABLE?
The warranty is exercisable only by the original retail purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any successor owner or other party.
HOW IS A WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESSED?
To obtain authorization to return a part under warranty, contact Blockhead Performance at service@blockheadmoto.com. Customer must have and show proof of purchase. We will provide a Return Authorization number (RA), together with details explaining how to return the product. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the shipper.

IF A CLAIM IS VALIDATED, WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY?
Repair or replacement with a similar or like-kind product is the remedy, in the sole discretion of Blockhead Performance. A refund for a defective or faulty product under warranty may also be considered. Cost of, or associated with, removal and installation of any product is not included as part of this Warranty and the purchaser assumes sole responsibility for such removal and installation costs.
